Brazil Nuts


Traditionally used in South American diets, Brazil nuts are creamy, rich nuts used whole or chopped, with a buttery flavor. They are high in protein, calcium, zinc and (about 2,500 times as much selenium as any other nut), vitamin E and minerals like magnesium and contain useful amounts of phosphorous, copper, iron and zinc.

  • Very low in Cholesterol and Sodium. Selenium is a powerful antioxidant which has been proven to protect against heart disease and cancers like prostate cancer.

    In a study of patients with early Alzheimer’s disease, antioxidants - including selenium - boosted mood and mental performance.
