60-70% of the hazelnut consists of oil. It has a special combination of oil (especially oleic acid rich oil structure), proteins, carbohydrate, beta-sitosterol, essential vitamins and minerals, giving it a unique ability to protect against diseases. Another benefit of Vitamin E is to prevent the factors which prepare the basis for cancer disease. Prevents the rise of cholesterol in the blood and decreases cholesterol.
