This is my Nutri-Blast Greens Plus vegan protein powder. I add more spirulina and pea and rice protein to replace the whey protein concentrate in my regular protein powder.
I was asked for a vegan recipe by several people on the first day of the Mind Body Spirit Expo in November 2011. So, the next morning at 4:30am I was hard at work in the kitchen, mixing up a non-soy, non-whey, vegan protein powder!
So if you would like to add a high nutrition protein powder to your breakfast smoothie or sprinkle over whatever else you have for breakfast, (one of my best mates sprinkles it on his weet-bix) give this a try.
People I respect tell me soy is not that good for the body so I have not included it as an ingredient. (Apparently the soy consumers Dr Pepi sees are mineral deficient - soy leaches or prevents the absorption of minerals by the body. Which is pretty interesting. Many people are overweight and the mineral chromium has been found useful in maintaining an optimum weight. People who don’t have enough Chromium in their diet are more overweight than those who get more of it.
